Our Story

About Orchestrated Events & Adventures

Every great experience — a perfectly played piece, a transformative journey, a flawlessly executed event — begins with intention and craft.

Music teaches us that every performance is a journey.

Education expands our understanding. Events bring people together. Travel broadens our perspective. Retreats create space for reflection and growth.

Though they may appear different, each is a journey of learning, connection, and discovery.

That's the idea behind Orchestrated Journeys.

"Creating meaningful experiences through the art of orchestration."

"My career has never been about a single profession—it has been about creating opportunities for people to learn, connect, explore, and grow."

At first glance, music lessons, event planning, executive support, travel design, retreats, and educational programs may seem like very different pursuits. For me, however, they have always been connected by a common purpose: helping people learn, connect, grow, and create meaningful experiences.

Whether coordinating a conference, designing a travel experience, supporting senior leadership, teaching a music student, or facilitating a retreat, I am motivated by the opportunity to transform ideas into experiences that educate, inspire, connect, and create lasting value.

To me, they are all variations of the same thing: orchestration.

That passion has guided a professional journey spanning science, education, project management, executive support, event strategy, travel planning, and the performing arts.

My path into this work has been anything but traditional.

I grew up in a musical family. My father was a professional musician, and as a child I spent weekends helping load music stands and equipment into hotels, banquet halls, wedding venues, and performance spaces. Long before I understood event planning, I was immersed in environments where people gathered to celebrate, learn, connect, and create memories.

Like my siblings, I studied multiple instruments and developed a lifelong appreciation for music. Although I did not pursue music as a full-time profession, the lessons I learned through music have shaped every stage of my career.

I began professionally in science, earning a degree in Food Science from Rutgers University. What attracted me to science was not only the research itself, but the process of taking an idea from concept to completion—combining planning, analysis, communication, operations, and execution to deliver something valuable to the end user.

Over time, I discovered that I was most energized by work that brought people together to learn, connect, and achieve shared goals. That realization led me into a career spanning more than two decades in event management, executive support, education, travel planning, and project leadership.

One of the most valuable lessons music taught me is how to think in systems and relationships.

Most people hear a beautiful performance and focus on the musicians. Musicians, however, understand the structure beneath it—rhythm, harmony, timing, transitions, and how each part contributes to the whole.

Events, travel programs, retreats, and business operations work much the same way. Like a conductor leading an orchestra, successful planners and project leaders must understand not only the individual components but also how they interact. Budgets, logistics, venues, communications, stakeholder expectations, and attendee experiences must all work together in harmony.

The ability to recognize those interdependencies, anticipate challenges, and coordinate many moving parts toward a common objective has become one of my greatest professional strengths.

Trade shows provide one of the clearest illustrations of why I find this work so rewarding. A few days before opening, you may be standing in what feels like an empty warehouse with concrete floors and loading docks. Then vendors arrive. Booths are constructed. Signage appears. Attendees begin checking in. Within a matter of days, a temporary space transforms into a vibrant environment where people are learning, networking, solving problems, and creating new opportunities.

Witnessing that transformation never gets old.

Over the years I have also served as a corporate trainer, substitute teacher, mentor, cultural exchange coordinator, workshop facilitator, retreat planner, travel advisor, and music instructor. I have taught more than 225 music students ranging in age from three to eighty-five and have performed in ensembles, theater productions, weddings, and community events.

I have developed and led weekend and weeklong adventure trips, cultural exchange tours, planned family reunion cruises, handled extensive domestic and international travel for executives, speakers, trade show staff, and myself, and organized programs designed to foster learning, professional growth, personal development, and community engagement.

Along the way, I have earned several nationally and internationally recognized professional certifications, including PMP, CMP, CIS, CTSM, HMCC, CITP, and GTAA Golf Outings & Tournament Certified Planner. I have also completed numerous tourism specialist certifications focused on destinations such as Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Korea, Malta, and Fiji.

Today, Orchestrated Events & Adventures reflects the culmination of everything I have learned throughout my career.

  • My background in science taught me analytical thinking and structured problem-solving.
  • Teaching strengthened my communication skills and ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Executive support developed my understanding of stakeholder management, discretion, and organizational leadership.
  • Travel planning enhanced my expertise in logistics, cultural awareness, and customer experience.
  • Music instilled discipline, creativity, and an appreciation for how individual elements come together to create something greater than the sum of their parts.
  • Event management became the profession where all of those skills could converge.

Yet the most rewarding part of my work has never been the logistics, the schedules, or the plans themselves.

It is the people.

  • The student who discovers confidence through music.
  • The attendee who makes a valuable professional connection.
  • The executive whose vision becomes reality.
  • The traveler who experiences a destination in a meaningful way.
  • The retreat participant who gains clarity for their next chapter.

Those moments are why I do what I do.

If you are looking for someone who can bring organization to complexity, creativity to planning, and genuine care to the people involved, I would be honored to help orchestrate your next experience.
